Making a video blog is something I never thought I’d have the guts to try for myself. I’ve seen lots of great coaching and mentoring video blogs, that I thought were really professional and I really didn’t think I could emulate that.
I then went to Paris and was so proud of what I’d achieved, that I just wanted to share what I’d learned. I also realised that it didn’t necessarily have to have to be slick, it just had to be me, speaking from the heart about something I’m passionate about; something I’ve never had a problem with doing. Not only that but I was encouraged by my own coach to step outside of my comfort zone and give it a whirl.
The best thing is that I didn’t overthink it, I had a rough idea of what I wanted to say and as I knew it only needed to be short, the video you see here was completed at the first attempt in one take.
As I actually enjoyed the whole experience, I’ll now be doing lots more on a range of topics, so if you’ve anything you’d like to hear about, or if you’ve any tips to help me improve my technique of video blogging, I’d love to hear from you.
